Our Young Author

Today was Young Author's Day at Berry College Elementary and Middle School.  Chloe received a writing award then we enjoyed a picnic in front of Frost Chapel while she read her book to us.  It is entitled: The Princess in the Castle.  It's bound to become a classic!

About the Author...

"Chloe Hansard is six years old.  She is the daughter of Ben and Kim Hansard.  She has two sisters, Hannah and Lauren.  Chloe loves to play with her puppy and play outside.  She cannot choose a favorite toy because she loves them all so much!  Her absolute favorite food is a banana because they are so yummy!  She may be a girly girl, but she loves to wear green.  Art is her favorite part of school, and she is a friend to everyone.  Chloe loves a great princess story, so she wrote one herself."

The girls came last night for the first time in a long time.

You can see from Chloe's face how ecstatic she was.

It was a beautiful visit with three happy sisters and one very happy daddy!

Handling Snakes Field trip

 The class visited the Pet Store today....

She was afraid at first, but then quickly overcame her fear.

I am proud of her.  Although, it's fine with me if she never does it again!

I will stick with hermit crabs as pets over snakes any day!
